Service Description

An 8 week program, focusing on becoming a stronger, more confident person. Throughout the 8 weeks, we will focus on a variety of topics to help build self-esteem, loving yourself, showing kindness, setting goals, healthy habits, working through worries,  and living a life full of gratitude.

Embrace Who You Are Program Policy The Embrace Who You Are program is designed to empower youth to build confidence, develop self-awareness, and navigate worries in a healthy, positive way. Through guided activities, discussions, and skill-building, participants will learn to recognize their strengths, manage emotions, and grow into their authentic selves. Program Goals Build self-confidence and self-worth Develop healthy coping skills for stress and anxiety Encourage positive self-talk and resilience Promote emotional awareness and regulation Foster a sense of belonging and connection Group Expectations To create a safe and supportive environment: Participants will treat others with kindness and respect Everyone will be given the opportunity to share, but sharing is optional Active listening and encouragement are expected Negative or hurtful behavior will not be tolerated Confidentiality What is shared in the group should remain private Participants are expected to respect each other’s stories and experiences The group leader will maintain confidentiality except in cases involving: Risk of harm to self or others Suspected abuse or neglect Situations requiring mandatory reporting Attendance & Commitment Consistent attendance is important for growth and group connection Parents/guardians should notify the leader of any absences Repeated absences may result in removal to allow space for others Behavior Policy Participants are expected to follow group expectations If behavior becomes disruptive: A reminder will be given A private conversation may occur Parent/guardian may be contacted if needed Continued concerns may result in removal from the program Parent/Guardian Communication General updates about program topics and skills will be shared Specific personal information shared by participants will remain confidential unless safety concerns arise Parents are encouraged to support skill-building at home Scope of Program This program is educational and skill-based, not therapy It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions Referrals may be recommended if additional support is needed Safety & Well-Being The emotional and physical safety of participants is a top priority Any concerns regarding safety will be addressed immediately Appropriate school personnel and/or parents will be notified when necessary
